Why should you be in Gujarat during Navratri?

Firstly, HAPPY NAVRATRI to everyone out there.
9 days of bliss has started and it has taken everyone by its magic.

But, as it's the regional festival of Gujarat, there is nothing like celebrating it here. I repeat 'NOTHING'.
There is no single year when I am not in Gujarat during this time of the year, so with personal experience let me tell you WHY is it so special.

1. The traditional Gujarati food all at one place-
          This just cannot be missed, afterall we love to eat, don't we?
And the best part are the stalls that are put up during 9 days of Navratri making sure you don't have to go food searching in different corners of the city.

Let me tell you my favourite dishes.

-> Papdi No Lot -

This yummiest Gujarati delicacy served with ghee and spicy Sukha chutney will leave you wanting for more. It's hot, served with love and a smile, Gujjus are too sweet, you see!
I won't tell you the recipe for then what else is Google for? Haha! ;)

-> Gathiya-Fafda

Served with not too spicy mirchi, it's more than just a snack.
You can get it anytime and every time in Gujarat, but during Navratri, the value increases. No, not in terms of money, but in terms of awesomeness!

-> Khava

As this is usually the time when cold waves start to set in, there's a solution Gujarat has for this too. It's called 'Khava'. It's a spicy hot drink made from old but gold masalas which are tastier and effective than the best tablets out there to solve your cough issues. Try it to believe it! You won't regret it. Promise.

2. The Vibe
- There's a reason Navratri is Gujarat's regional festival, and that's because it's the best at it, no questions asked.
From the Garba to proper traditional songs, everyone is dressed to kill.
From fasting during the day to saying 'Halla Bol' on the food stalls during the night, you'll find it all, HERE.

And and and,

Last but not the least,

3. You might just find your Soulmate shaking legs during Garba-
    Many have got theirs, you might be next. No kidding!
Who knows whom your dandiya hits and sticks to and a guitar starts playing in your heart which stops only when you are in the marriage hall saying 'I do'.
Afterall, 'Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hain'.

So, say 'Halo Halo' and pack your bags to fly into Gujarat.
Epic stuff awaits your presence.

'Jalsa Karjo'! ❤️
